Office Hours

Hours are by appointment, please call (401) 297-5514 or email infosacu@gmail.com to schedule.

Visits

The first visit will be 60-90 minutes. It includes an in-depth health evaluation, diagnosis and acupuncture treatment. We will see you punctually at the time which you have scheduled. A highly customized treatment plan will be made for you after a detailed discussion about your health concerns and past medical history follow by looking at the tongue and taking the pulse. You will then relax and enjoy your first acupuncture treatment with all the benefits from the biomat.  If herbs are desired, a tailored herbal formula will be prescribed.

Follow-up treatment is 45-60 minutes which include a health status update and an acupuncture treatment. Frequency and numbers of treatments vary with different conditions and individuals. In general, acute conditions respond well as few as 1 to 3 treatments. Chronic conditions usually require more treatments to achieve sustained results.

Please arrive on time so that you can have your full session, bring a full list of your current medications, be sure to have some food in your stomach, wear loose comfortable clothing, avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol after your acupuncture treatments.

Herbal Consultation is 30 minutes. Herbal products are an additional cost.

Payment may be in the form of cash or check. There will be a $25 fee for any returned checks. Payment is due at the time of service.

Cancellation Policies

Please call us as soon as possible if you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Any appointment missed or rescheduled within less than 24 hours will be subject to the full appointment fee. Your cooperation helps make those times available to other people.

Insurance Coverage

Our office is contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island. For all other insurance companies, if you do have coverage, payment is still required at the time of service, but we would gladly provide you with information needed to complete insurance claim forms and you may be reimbursed directly from the insurance company. Please be advised that no insurance guarantees payment so whatever the insurance company does not cover is the responsibility of the patient. Herbal medicine is not covered by any plans.
